Marketing Plan – Target Customers and Opportunitites
Municipalities: As cities look for ways to cut down on users of their electrical grid, solstreet benches are an amenity for shoppers in business districts and pedestrians in parks. Locals and visitors stop by to sit and relax, wait for a friend or transport and charge their phones. They are exposed to useful information such as local events, commercial advertising and limited-time offerings on color and B&W electronic E Ink screens. Local governments can update emergency messages 24 hours a day. Solstreet units become an important landmark of the smart city network.
Transportation: Solstreet bus shelters and transit poles are a good fit for train stations and bus stops. Companies such as Lyft and Uber might be annual leasing sponsors of solstreet units as their clients sit and wait for pick up at airports and train stations. Sponsors are featured on the E Ink digital color and B&W electronic screens. Tourists read local event notices and transit schedules.
Education: Students meet on solstreet benches for campus updates or just hang out. Our new desk model is useful for outdoor learning that is here to stay since COVID. The E Ink panel is updated in real time for outdoor classroom presentations. Solstreet kiosks and desks complement other solar furniture and building products on campus.
